Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton is currently seeking volunteer members interested in serving on its Board of Directors. We are a not-for-profit organization supporting meaningful mentorship opportunities for youth in the region. Our mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people.
About our Board
The work of the Board of Directors is conducted using a committee structure. The Board meets regularly, on a monthly basis, 10 months of the year. Board members are expected to sit on one Committee of the Board. Below is a link to the organization’s website that will provide an overview of our programs and services. Commitment
A minimum commitment of 2-5 hours per month is required for document review, board and committee meetings, events, volunteer recruitment and other tasks. Board members are elected to serve a two-year renewable term.
