Join Big Brothers Big Sisters in our inaugural year of MEGABike and take a ride you will never forget!
Something MEGA BIG and MEGA FUN is coming to the Greater Moncton Area! We hope that you will join us and Pedal for the Potential of young people here in our community all while, enjoying a fun, team-building activity.
MEGABike is a national BBBS fundraising event with 22 cities across the country participating. The bike will be in Dieppe for 2 days on June 15th and 16th and the route is through scenic downtown Dieppe. The bike fits a maximum of 29 riders and we will be scheduling rides every hour starting at 9 am. We will have some fun activities, refreshments on site, and the opportunity to celebrate post-event with your fellow MEGABikers! The attached package outlines all opportunities for involvement from single-seat registration to a half or full-bike buy!
If you’re looking for a fun teambuilding activity to re-group after such a long period of working from home, then look no further. MEGABike is something different and fun that gets everyone outside and doesn’t require hours of time or a big commitment. This is a great way to reconnect and bring your team together or get your clients out of the office for some fresh air and to connect in a new way! You can even plan to participate with your friends or family! (must be age 14+)

Make a MEGA impact for youth!
When we ignite potential in children early in life through mentoring, they are better able to face and navigate life’s adversities in the future. The evidence supports that mentoring through intentional relationships is an essential, critical intervention that helps youth. BBBS is the leading non-profit social organization dedicated to helping enrich young people’s lives through the power of one-to-one mentoring.
The need for our programs has increased by 102% this past year alone. Right now, we have 116 kids waiting for the chance to be enrolled and matched with a mentor they need and deserve to have. The funds raised from MEGABike will enable us to end the wait and provide youth with the mentors they need to help them navigate through childhood.
We’ll be pedaling through the streets of Dieppe on June 15th and 16th.
