Bowl for Kids’ Sake – Lawn Bowling

FOWLER LAW PRESENTS

2023 will be a year to remember! In celebration of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton’s 50th anniversary, we are inviting our community to BOWL FOR GOLD during our annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser. We will be hosting our annual fundraising event on Saturday, June 10th, featuring lawn bowling at the Centennial Lawn Bowling Club with an enjoyable family-friendly experience, which promises to be packed with surprises, laughs, and lasting memories.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton, our mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. These important developmental relationships give young people access to new opportunities and experiences to build their confidence and expand their idea of what is possible. More importantly, these relationships are protective factors that act as a buffer between children and their adverse childhood experiences, increasing the likelihood of positive youth development.

Since 1973, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton has ignited the potential of thousands of children and youth through mentoring. In those 50 years, we have continued to evolve and grow in response to the ever-changing needs of the community we serve. The one constant through it all has been our core belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential, and that a meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationship is the key to unlocking that potential so it can be shared with the world. Together, we can work to better the lives of young people and help them navigate this challenging chapter in our history.

Last year, with the help of our mentors, partners, donors, and sponsors, we were able to support more than 200 youth, providing them with a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where they were able to learn skills that they could apply in their lives and bring about important changes that would assist them in becoming healthy, well-balanced, and productive members of our community.

YOU CAN HELP.

Come join us for an enjoyable family-friendly event packed with laughs and lasting memories, all while supporting vulnerable youth in your community.

Why Participate?

During this very trying time, we have witnessed an elevated need for mentoring programs and this event is a chance to help us rebuild in-person programs and connect more youth in developmental relationships. It’s also an opportunity for your company to participate in a fun team building activity for a good cause. It’s a great morale builder as employees place high value on their company being a good citizen. Connectedness to community in a time of social separation is vital to our well-being and productiveness, and employees feel this when they are part of a positive initiative in the workplace.

As always there will be an amazing raffle.
