Again this year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton is partnering with A-Tech Roofing Ltd. for the Holiday Heroes Program, which aims to provide some much-needed support for families participating in our mentoring programs.
With the holiday season just around the corner, your team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton understands that the past year has been financially difficult for many, more so than ever before.
Thankfully, this has not gone unnoticed by our generous donors in the community. Our Holiday Heroes Program aims to limit the financial barriers that can come with the giving season. With the help of some incredible donors, families, friends, and businesses, we want to help you in providing a comfortable and cherished holiday experience in your household.
The program will provide families with a few gift cards, with the goal of ensuring food security and special memories for your family. While it is always our goal to support as many families as possible during the holiday season, our ability to provide assistance is based on the generosity of community donors. All applications will be considered with care, and priority will be determined by a selection committee. Donation amounts may also be adjusted to accommodate the need.
Program Considerations
- The deadline for application is December 1, 2023 (11:59 p.m.)
- Registration is limited to families who are enrolled in a BBBS program.
- Holiday support received in previous years will be evaluated.
- Priority will be given to families who are not already receiving holiday support this year (excluding the food box).
- We are limited by the funds received from donors and will not be able to meet every request.
